Healthy Travel Tips
Immunisation Immunisation regulations and requirements differ from country to country. Make sure you check with the doctor or local travel clinic or visit www.cdc.gov/travel* to find out which vaccinations are required for your desired destination.
Vaccinations depend on your destination and the length of your stay. Make sure any vaccinations
are planned well in advance (8-10 weeks). However be aware that no vaccination
is 100% effective, travellers should follow basic food, water and safety precautions
whilst abroad. It is also very important to consult a travel health professional
if you are, or are likely to become pregnant.
Travel insurance If your holiday operator doesn’t provide travel insurance, it is essential that you organise your insurance before you go. This is to ensure you get emergency medical attention while you are away and to cover you in case your luggage is lost or stolen. Which IMODIUM® do I need?
